.. WINTER ..
East Coast Clubs' Founder

Winter started in this industry back in 1992 as a bouncer at Venus De Milo, a Lansdowne Street nightclub. A few years later, he was “working the door” at Karma and eventually moved up the street with his friend, Sean Christie (Light, Bellagio, Las Vegas, NV) and assisted with the opening of Embassy, (Lansdowne St. Boston). This is where Winter began working with Laz, he claims “one of the best damn managers to ever work for and learn from.” Working along side FuturEntertainment (Jairo, Tyrone, & Theo) taught Winter the art of promotion as he continued to build his own network of clientele, coordinating VIP events and developing his own guest lists.

Winter’s next venture was with good friend, Vladimir under Winter’s new promotion company name East Coast Clubs. We launched “Ultimate Fridays” at Trio, Lincoln St. Boston, featuring DJ Chris Roxxx. The night was amazing, always a great time, and consistently sold out. The team accommodated a guest list of hundreds with exceptional, V.I.P. service. Due to unforeseen complications the venue had itself, we moved Fridays to Caprice on Tremont street.

It was then, Winter and Vlad were approached by managers, Roger and Dimitri of Whiskey Park, Arlington St., Boston. They offered us the opportunity to launch “Wicked Saturdays,” a weekly event with Boston’s Headline Hip Hop DJ (G2) G-Squared.” Several months later, Winter and Vlad parted ways, yet remained good friends. Winter continued Wicked Saturdays at Whiskey Park and took on a pair of promoters, Mike M. and Aldo C. with good friend Tommy D. at the door (M-80, Embassy, Mantra) and Winter’s brother Bryan of Natick, MA based Intricate Lines who built EastCoastClubs.com and designs and prints most of the flyers and marketing materials.

In 2005, East Coast Clubs’, Winter launched two more weekly events. Pure Fridays at Saint, Exeter St., Boston, featuring DJ (G2) G-Squared in the main room and DJ Tanno in the other. The other night, a private Wednesday night at alternating locations with Jairo and Tyrone (FuturEntertainment) Commonwealth Ave, Boston. Pure Fridays at Saint is the dubbed the hottest Friday night in Boston and sells out weekly, while Wednesday night is by far the most elite Wednesday Night in the city.

Aside from hosting the most popular events in the city, East Coast Clubs and Winter, continues to offer full service marketing, promotion, event planning, decorating services, graphic design and marketing materials via high speed digital printing.

In the near future, Winter along with associate Jeff Cutler will be launching E4VIP.com with plans for a national expansion of East Coast Clubs.

On a personal note, Winter put himself through college, and holds a bachelor degree in Psychology (FSC) and second degree in Facility Management (Northeastern). You’ll find him eating at South Street Diner (late night), or his favorite restaurants in the North End, Strega Ristorante and The North Street Grill. Other nights you can usually find him “cleaning up” at a casino, card table, working out at the gym or walking his 2 dogs. Winter holds deep admiration for his father who passed away October, 2003 from Renal Cancer.
